      Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA) is situated in the north of North China Plain, at the junction of Shandong Peninsular and Liaodong Peninsular and the downstream of Haihe basin, right in the east of Tianjin downtown, at the top of Bohai Bay, very close to the Bohai Sea. Its geographic coordinates is 38°40′-39°00′ N, 117°20′-118°00′ E. As very close to the two megalopolises of Beijing and Tianjin, Binhai New Area is equipped with the largest artificial harbor in China, the most growable consumer market and most perfect urban supporting facilities. Within a circumference of 500 km with the New Area as the center, there is distribution of 11 large cities, each with a population of more than 1 million people. Externally, Binhai New Area proudly occupies the core position of Bohai Rim economic circle, facing Japan and Korean Peninsula across the sea, directly encountering Northeast Asia and the rapidly rising Asian-Pacific economic circle, and joining the whole world economy with infinite business opportunities.

      With a coastline extending as long as 153 km, Binhai New Area covers a land area of 2,270 square kilometers and a sea area of 3,000 square kilometers.
