The Tianjin Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week 2018 were held in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. On Oct 10, the highly anticipated UAV show and technical application and safety assurance exchange meeting was successfully held in China Civil Aviation Technology Industrialization Base. The event brought together UAV companies, research institutes, industry experts, etc. to discuss and share experiences on the development of the UAV industry. Among them, the UAV show and technical exchange activities pushed the whole series of activities to a climax.
The reporter learned from the activities that the UAV industry in Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA for short) has been highly integrated from basic research and development, platform and industry to the development of the industry. It is building a UAV industrial base covering R&D and production.
Wonderful and colorful UAV technology shows are eye-catching.
The event not only exhibited more than ten advanced UAVs from six companies including Tengyun Zhihang, Hangda Hanlai, Tongya Technology, Sancha Aviation, and Pilot Engine Aviation, but also exhibited the ADS-B integrated airspace monitoring system from the Civil Aviation University of China, which integrated civil aviation, navigation and UAV monitoring, as well as nanomaterial sensors for variable-wing UAVs from Tianjin Polytechnic University, and counter-powered UAVs from Hangda Hanlai Company to greatly mobilize the interest of the participants.
In the event, the most attractive thing is the splendid "UAV Shows". During the performance, the performance of Hangda Hanlai's fixed-wing vertical take-off and landing and multi-rotor ground detection showed a visual wonder similar to air combat. Tengyun Zhihang and China Aviation Tengyun also showcased various types of UAV flight shows for the audience. “The iFly U5 used in this exhibition uses a variety of artificial intelligence technologies and has advantages in all aspects.” According to the relevant person in charge of Tianjin Tengyun Zhihang Technology Co., Ltd., iFly U5 is an aerial survey professional with independent RTK technology. The UAV adopts modular structure design and carbon fiber sandwich forming process. It adopts flying wing aerodynamic layout and dual-power configuration. It has excellent flight performance and redundant safety, and adopts imported smart battery.
The reporter noted that the UAV models exhibited in this exhibition are mostly commercial UAVs. For example, Tianjin Tongye Technology Co., Ltd. brings professional UAVs that have been used for filming films such as wolves, winds and waves – Dajiangwo INSPIRE 2 while exhibiting a variety of industrial-grade UAV products for agricultural, fire, rescue, news and other fields. Relevant professionals at the event said that for the development trend of UAVs, the industry generally believes that commercial UAVs will likely usher in an explosive period in the future, and in the commercial UAVs, enterprises in TBNA are preemptive and ahead.
Collective force contributes to UAV industry in TBNA to set sail.
It is claimed that the UAV segment represented by Tengyun Zhihang, Zhongfu Aviation and Zhongtian Airlines has become one of the six intelligent technology industrial clusters in the Tianjin Port Bonded Zone, and has built a complete UAV service industry chain. The China Civil Aviation Science and Technology Industrialization Base, which hosted the event, was successfully approved for airspace use in 2017. At the same time, the UAV airspace monitoring room was established. With the aid of airspace resources, the UAV enterprises and resources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were integrated, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei UAV Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was established. At present, there are 12 UAV-related enterprises in the Alliance, covering all areas such as R&D, production, sales training and maintenance. Members of the Alliance are developing rapidly under the support of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei UAV Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. Among them, the annual output value of many enterprises such as Tengyun Zhihang, Feiyan Technology and Bru Ainuo has exceeded 10 million yuan.
In fact, not only the Tianjin Port Bonded Zone, but also the development of the UAV industry in the other four major functional zones of TBNA is getting better. The UAV industry in TBNA is now multi-flowering, and the cultivation of innovative enterprises and industrial carriers are advancing rapidly. Taking TEDA as an example, the number of enterprises related to the UAV industry has exceeded 100. Among them, the “Indus” intelligent unmanned airport issued by IFLYTEK (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. was the first in the industry, together with the “Intelligent Phoenix”unmaned logistics UAVs to upgrade the intelligent logistics of aviation to a new height, making “10-km radius, 30-minute delivery” into reality in China; TEDA Intelligent Unmanned Equipment Industrial Park has been put into use, and it sticks to the area the platform-level enterprises with unmanned technology to attract integrated solution companies for specific industry applications and R&D companies for key technologies and component research and development to enter the industrial park, forming an industrial chain with high integration from basic research and development, platform to industry.
The experts at the meeting believe that in recent years, many UAV companies have settled in TBNA, and the upstream and downstream industries have accelerated. Under the policy of the excellent industrial environment in TBNA and the support of the development of artificial intelligence enterprises represented by UAVs, the UAV industry in TBNA will accelerate development under the driving force of domestic UAVs.
