On the morning of Oct 13, the Tianjin TEDA National Marathon 2018 raced in front of the Marina Square in the Tianjin Economic-technological Development Area (abbreviated as TEDA). More than 8,000 business teams and more than 8,000 road runners from all cities signed up for the event, and the number of people on the scene was over 10,000.
From an unpopular event to a hot topic, in China, no sport has become so "popular". The marathon is becoming one of the most popular sports and a phenomenal city marketing campaign. The number of applicants for the four-year TEDA Marathon is on the rise. From 3,521 in 2014 to more than 8,000 this year, the number of applicants has more than doubled, attracting more and more runners and companies to pay attention. Businesses and partners are rushing to form a complete industrial chain and a mature operating model. The low-input and high-output price-performance ratio allowed runners, city-runners, and road-run commodity developers to work together to promote the marathon into a “blue ocean era” of the entire industry chain.
