With the help of favorable policies, the marketization of waste sorting has entered the fast lane and become a new enthusiasm. Environmentally-friendly and technology-based enterprises have begun to deploy, and a “feast” of waste sorting and recycling industry is opening. Experts pointed out that exploring the development of the entire chain of waste sorting industry is the future development direction of the waste sorting market.
Garbage sorting on the "Internet +" ride

The company's development and operation of the municipal solid waste classification and renewable resource recovery platform is correct while the use of Internet technology can correctly guide users to participate in waste sorting and the classification of recyclables so hazardous waste can make an appointment to recycle.
In the Xincheng Home Community of Tanggu Street, the first one-stop garbage sorting service kiosk in TBNA, the “Good” garbage sorting convenience service pavilion has earned enough attention. The pavilion is operated by Tianjin Tus-sound Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tus-sound"). Zhang Zhili, the person in charge of the on-site operation, told the reporter that each household has a unique intelligent service card. After the card is swiped, the garbage sorting box door is automatically opened, and the residents are assigned to the sorting bin. The electronic scales under the recycling bin will be weighed, and by converting the weight into points, residents can redeem points, such as personal care, cleaning care, grain, oil and food, with the points to the service booth.
Compared with TEDA and Tanggu Street, the classification of waste in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city started earlier. As the first urban area in Tianjin to be integrated into the concept of waste source sorting at the time of design, the Eco-city will transport non-recyclable garbage and kitchen waste to the garbage collection station through garbage passages, and also use classification systems and ongoing upgrades of garbage intelligence for recyclable garbage and large-sized garbage in the intelligent classification system.
Enterprises actively seize market share in waste sorting.
Since the beginning of this year, the intensively introduced relevant environmental protection policies have repeatedly mentioned “promoting the classification and treatment of domestic wastes”. Many technology-based environmental protection enterprises have focused on the waste-rich mining that needs to be discovered. Industry insiders expect that the 10 billion garbage sorting market will be launched soon. By 2020, the waste sorting market will release more than 20 billion yuan.
Yang Xiaodong told reporters that the current garbage classification has been marketized, and the company is self-sufficient in the form of government procurement services. The garbage classification is actually “rich” in the added value of recyclables, but the recovery rate is not high. TBNA officially started the classification management of domestic waste this year. The goal is to achieve a domestic garbage recycling rate of over 35% by the end of 2020. By the end of 2030, the domestic garbage recycling rate will reach over 40%.
At present, the difficulty in garbage sorting and recycling is actually the source classification. “Germany and Japan have carried out garbage sorting for more than 20 years, and 20% of residents do not participate in the classification. It is the biggest problem to guide users to establish correct classification awareness,” Yang Xiaodong said.
Recycling the entire industry chain becomes the future direction.
It is claimed that the current garbage is sorted according to the four-point method of recyclables, perishable garbage, general garbage and hazardous garbage, and classified into different terminal processing links. According to Yang Xiaodong, users of“Right Dumping” can make online reservations for recyclables and toxic and hazardous waste on-site recycling services. Recyclables are purchased at market prices, and are packaged, warehousing and transportation to paper mills, plastic processing plants and other enterprises for recycling; The hazardous waste will be transported to the enterprise specialized in hazardous waste treatment through professional safe recycling and storage; the general garbage will be directly transported to waste incineration.
In order to better adapt to the trend of industrialization of waste sorting, some technology-based environmental protection enterprises have extended their business to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. For example, the person in charge of Tus-sound has publicly stated that under the support of the Internet and the Internet of Things, it is expected to open up the industrial chain of garbage sorting, sanitation and renewable resources. Gengnan Technology and other companies are also trying to extend the industrial chain. Experts believe that it is relatively easy for some small-scale technology-based environmental protection companies to try to extend the industrial chain horizontally or vertically.
Professor Ma Jinghuan of Tianjin University of Technology has been working on environmental protection and resource recycling for many years. She believes that garbage is a useful substance, which can be classified according to the form of gas-liquid solid, and then consider forming its own industrial chain. “The country frequently introduces environmental protection policies and forms a favorable situation. Many companies are willing to join in. If it is too long, people will pay attention to this aspect, and some people will try to explore the zero-emission, recyclable waste classification industry chain，“ Professor Ma said.
